There is a small amount of nylon added to the heels and toes to reinforce these high wear areas. 95% Wool, 3% Nylon, 2% Elastane. Size: Men's Regular and King 95% Wool Socks Warmth and comfort come with high wool content.   However long wear is achieved with a greater synthetic fibre content. So a 95% Wool blend makes a warm luxurious sock but a 60% Wool/Nylon sock of similar thickness will last longer. They are described on the label as "No Elastic" in styles that use the synthetic fibre for stretch.   In styles containing elastomeric for stretch the label description is "No Tight Elastic".   The No Elastic styles have the lowest possible leg and foot pressure as the stretch is obtained from the synthetic fibre - not elastomeric. A Humphrey Law Health Sock ® does not need an elastic top to stop it falling down, because it is knitted tighter at the ankle than the top to match the natural taper of your leg.
