PREPARING THE CAKE:
You will need:
1 BASCO Chocolate Cake Mix (470g)
2 Eggs (at room temperature)
3 Tbsps (60g) Polyunsaturated Margarine Spread or Butter
? Cup (165mL) Water
One 20cm x 7cm (8" x 2 ¾") Deep Round Cake Pan
1. Preheat oven to 180ºC /350ºF (160ºC fan forced). Grease and flour round cake pan with gluten free flour, or lightly grease non-stick cake pan.
2. Place cake mix, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons soft margarine and ? cup water in a small mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed until ingredients are moistened. Mix on medium speed for 3 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl occasionally. Pour batter into prepared round cake pan.
3. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cake is baked if it springs back when lightly touched in the centre. Remove cake from the oven and allow to stand in pan for 5 minutes prior to inverting. Invert cake onto a cake cooler. Allow cake to cool completely before frosting.
PREPARING THE FROSTING:
You will need:
1 ½ Tbsps (30g) Polyunsaturated Margarine Spread or Butter
2 Tbsps (40mL) Milk
1. Empty contents of frosting sachet into a small mixing bowl with 1 ½ tablespoons soft margarine and 2 tablespoons milk.
2. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed until ingredients are moistened. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
3. Scrape down sides of bowl occasionally. Spread frosting over top of cool cake.
When prepared according to standard pack directions using polyunsaturated vegetable oil and whole milk.

· 3. Remove lid. Do not discard.
· 4. Fill bottle with water to level indicated on this label. Alternatively add 1¼ cups (310mL) water to bottle, and replace lid. Turn bottle upside down and tap lid sharply on bench to loosen mix.
· 5. Shake bottle well for 1 minute. Gently remove lid to release air, and then replace lid and shake for a further 1 minute.
6. Pour batter into fry pan to desired size. Cook over a low to medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Makes approximately 12 (8-10cm) pancakes.

Assemble: Spread batter into an ungreased 1-1 1/2 litre (4-6 cups) ovenproof baking dish. Sprinkle the sauce sachet evenly over the surface of batter.

60g (3 Tbsp) margarine spread or melted butter
40 mL (2 Tbsp) water
Frosting
20mL (1 Tbsp) milk
30g (1 1/2 Tbsp) margarine spread or soft butter
Instructions:
Preheat: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) or 160°C for fan-forced. Grease a 5cm deep x 20cm square cake pan. Line the base with baking paper.
Mix: Empty the brownie mix sachet into a mixing bowl. Add eggs, water and melted margarine spread or butter. Beat with a wooden spoon for 1 minute until mixture is well combined (mixture may still be lumpy).
Bake: Spread brownie batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Ice: Combine frosting sachet, milk and margarine spread or soft butter in a bowl. Using a wooden spoon mix until smooth and glossy (adding extra milk if necessary). Spread over top of brownie slice and serve.

330mL (1 1/3 cups) cold milk
Instructions:
Mix: Empty one mousse mix sachet into a mixing bowl. Add 170mL cold milk. Using electric mixer beat on low speed for 30 seconds to combine. Increase speed to high and mix for 3-4 minutes, scraping down side of bowl occasionally, until mousse is pale and thick.
Assemble and chill: Spoon mousse into 3 x 190mL (3/4 cup capacity) chilled glasses or ramekins. Sprinkle tops with 1/2 of the chocolate flakes. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled.
Tip: To make 6 serves, repeat steps 1 and 2 with second mousse sachet.

All you'll need is:
Base
90g (4 1/2 Tbsp) margarine spread or soft butter, melted
Filling
375mL (1 1/2 cups) milk
Instructions:
Bake: Empty contents of biscuit base mix sachet into a bowl. Add melted margarine spread or butter and mix with a metal spoon to combine. Press the mixture firmly over the base and 5cm up the sides of a 20cm round springform pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling.
Mix: Place the milk into a large bowl. Sprinkle the filling mix over the milk. Using an electric mixer beat on low speed for 30 seconds to combine. Increase speed to high and mix for 2 minutes until thick.
Chill: Spread filling into biscuit base. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
Tips: In place of a springform pan, use a 20cm round cake pan lined generously with cling film or baking paper such that the edges overlap the sides of the pan. Once the cheesecake has set, use the overlapping film or paper to lift out of the pan and transfer to a serving plate.

All you'll need is:
Cake
2 eggs
310mL (1 1/4 cups) water
170mL (2/3 cup) oil
Icing
40mL (2 Tbsp) milk
30g (1 1/2 Tbsp) margarine spread or butter
Instructions:
Preheat: Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F) or 140°C for fan-forced. Grease a 6cm deep x 20cm round cake pan. Line the base with baking paper. Place unopened clear sachet of chocolate chips into a heatproof bowl and cover with boiling water. Stand for 3 minutes, turning the sachet each minute to melt evenly (see below for microwave instructions).
Mix: Empty the cake mix sachet into a mixing bowl. Add eggs, oil and water. Beat with a wooden spoon until mixture is combined (mixture is runny and may appear lumpy).
Add chocolate: Remove chocolate chip sachet from water and pat dry. Knead chocolate with fingertips until smooth. Cut corner of sachet and squeeze melted chocolate into the cake mixture. Mix with a wooden spoon for 30 seconds (mixture may still appear lumpy).
Bake: Spread mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 1hr 15 minutes- 1hr 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. To ensure a moist cake, do not over-bake. Stand 10 minutes in pan before turning onto a wire rack to cool. The cake will settle upon cooling.
Ice: Place milk and margarine spread or butter into a small saucepan and heat gently until just melted. Remove from heat and stir in contents of paper sachet of chocolate buttons until melted and smooth. If required, return to low heat and stir to melt any remaining chocolate. Be careful not to overheat or burn the mixture (see below for microwave instructions). Pour icing over cake allowing icing to drizzle down the sides.
For a muddier cake texture, refrigerate overnight before serving.
Tips:
MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR MELTING CHOCOLATE:
Place contents of clear sachet of chocolate in a microwave safe bowl with a tablespoon of the oil from step 2. Microwave on medium (50%) power for 1 -2 1/2 minutes, stirring every 20-30 seconds until melted and smooth. Add to batter in step 3.
MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ICING:
Place milk and margarine spread or butter into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on medium (50%) power for 30 – 45 seconds until melted. Add contents of paper sachet of chocolate buttons and stir until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth. If required, microwave mixture for a further 10 seconds on medium and stir to melt any remaining chocolate.
GANACHE ICING - USING CREAM
Use 1/3 cup of cream instead of milk and margarine spread or butter. Follow step 5 or microwave instructions.
